CDD March Product Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the CDD March Stamp Release Blog Hop.

Here’s what I’ve created for you…

I created 2 cards for this blog hop! For the first card, I made a fun box card, using various images from the “Magical Wishes” and “Build A Scene” stamp set. For the second card, I used the toucan image from the “Flew By” mini stamp set.

Here is the First card:

 

How I made this card:

1. I made a box card, using the 12×12 card stock and decorated it with patterned cardstock. I made the cloud background with stencil and distress ink for the background panel. I Googled for the dimensions for the box card.

2. I stamped, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut the images. Fairy and the mushrooms are from the “Magical Wishes” stamp set. The tree in the back and the grass in the front is from the “Build A Scene” stamp set. I also die cut the clouds using the “The Sky Is The Limit Dies.” The flower in the front is from the “Busy Bees” stamp set.

3. I stamped the sentiment on the black cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed in white.

4. I adhered the colored images and the sentiment on the box card. Some of the images are attached on the acetate strips to create the floating look.

5. I finished the card by adding a pink handmade bow.

Here is the second card:

 

Here is how I made this card:

1. I stamped, colored with Copic Markers, and fussy cut the toucan image from the “Flew By” stamp set. I added gold gel pen to the image.

2. I die cut a black cardstock with “Heart of Heart dies,” made golden heat embossed stripes with stencil. I turned it into a shaker by adding “Lucky” sequin mix and attaching a gold mirror background with some foam tape.

3. I die cut a banner using the “Mix It Up Dies,” heat embossed the sentiment and the edge in gold. I adhered the banner on the shaker with some foam tape.

4. I wrapped the shaker in bow with the gold thread and attached the shaker on the black cardbase. I adhered the toucan and I also adhered some sequins for the finishing touch.
