I’m so thrilled to be joining Ruby’s Bridal Shower blog hop!  If you haven’t heard the news, the big day happened on Saturday, September 24th.

We’ve rounded up a bunch of crafty friends to celebrate, papercrafter style!  Before you hop around, here are a  couple words from the blushing bride:

“Steve and I are very excited about starting a new life together. We look forward to beautiful memories in a new home and lots of adventures overall. We are grateful for the support and love from our family and friends. My heart is full, and I truly feel so blessed and loved. :)”

Let me show you the card I created to celebrate Ruby’s big day!
For this card, I used Stamping Bella’s Closeups “I Do” stamp set. I colored the image with Copic Markers and added some bling and sparkles!

– I started the card by stamping the image form Stamping Bella’s Closeups “I Do” stamp set on a Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic Markers and die cut the image using the third largest die from the Memory Box Stitched Square dies. I also heat embossed the edges with Wow Silver Super Fine Embossing powder.
– I die cut 2 more squares, one out of We R Memory Keepers dotted acetate and other out of a AC silver glitter cardstock, using the second largest stitched square die from the same set.
– I stamped the MFT’s Bold Diagonal Stripes Background stamp set on the Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock (trimmed slightly smaller than A2 size) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the image multiple times using the MISTI to make sure the stripes are bold and crisp. I also added silver stripes and dots with the silver gel pen and T-ruler. Then I embossed the edges withWow Silver Super Fine Embossing powder. I adhered the panel on to a A2 sized black card base.
– I die cut the “twine” out of silver glitter cardstock using Pretty Pink Posh’s Twine and Bows Dies and adhered it on the left side of the card. Then, I adhered the silver glitter square, polka-dot acetate square, silver embroidery thread, and the main panel onto the card. The main panel is propped up with black fun foam on the back.
– I stamped the sentiment on the black cardstock in Versamark ink, heat embossed with Wow White Super Fine embossing powder, trimmed it down to a strip, and adhered it on the card.
– I added some heart die cuts and shimmers here and there with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen. Then I added some silver dots with gel pen and Glossy Accents here and there.
– I finished the card off by adhering some gems and Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
