Hello, crafty friends! Hope you had a Happy New Years Day! Hope 2017 treated you well. This is year flew by so quickly for me. I was caught up with so many things in life, I wasn’t able to craft as much as I’d like to. However, I’m hoping things will be different this coming new year and spend more time at my craft table. On that note, I’d like to share a floral card I made using the digital image “Bright Peonia” from DotBstamp on Etsy by Eunji!
Here’s the card!
I started off by printing the Bright Peonia on a Bristol Smooth cardstock. I colored the image with Stabilo68 pens, blending out the pigments with water brush. Colors I used are #29, 56, 58, 44, 75, and 65. I added very faint of blue background with Light Blue Zig marker. I let it dry completely and stamped the sentiment from The Ton’s Magnificent Magnolia in Noir Dye ink. Then cut the panel down and adhered it on to a pink A2 card base. I felt like it needed a frame so I die cut a black frame using Mama Elephant’s Framed Tags Madison Avenue and adhered it on the card. I dressed it up with some Crystal Iridescent sequins and the card was complete!
I hope you enjoyed the card. 🙂 Thank you so much for your love and support in 2017 and I wish you all the best in 2018!
