Thanks A Bunch!

Hi, everyone! I totally forgot to share a card I made a week ago for a special friend of mine! I combined 2 of my favorite images on this card. I love this adorable bear image from All Inside by Ellen Hutson, and I was stocked when I found out they released extra accessories for the stamp set! For the background, I used Avery Elle’s Canopy image, which is another favorite of mind.  I kept this card very pink, which is my favorite color!

Here is the card!

I started off by stamping the bear image with alcohol marker safe ink on the Neenah 80lb Solar White smooth cardstock. I also stamped a flower bouquet image from the Bear Ware stamp set and colored both images with various Copic markers. I die cut the bear image with the coordinating die, and fussy cut the flower bouquet image. I tucked in the bouquet on the bear’s hands so it looks like the bear is holding the flowers.

I stamped the canopy image from Avery Elle’s Canopy stamp set with Versamark on Archess 140lb watercolor paper and heat embossed in white. I watercolored the image with Distress Ink, Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose. I trimmed the panel down to 5.5″x4″. I wiped horizontal edges with Versmark and heat embossed with Artemio Silver Snow embossing powder. My dear friend sent me this embossing powder from Europe and I love it! It gives subtle and just right amount of sparkle that doesn’t compete with rest of the card design!

On the horizontal edges of the top folding A2 white card base, I ink blended with the same Distress inks I used to color the canopy image. When it was completely dry, I adhered the watercolored panel with Scor-tape. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Fuzzies stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I adhered the bear with 3M foam tape and finished the card off by adding some sequins.
