Holiday Floral – Dot.B Stamp

Hello everyone! For today’s project, I would like to share a birthday card I made for a dear friend of mine using the Holiday Floral Digital stamp from DotBstamp Etsy shop. Although it’s a “holiday” image, you could use this image for any occasion depending on how you color and design on the card.

Here’s the card!

EunJoa_HolidayFloral_FE1.jpg

I started off by downloading and printing the Holiday Floral image on a 80lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock. I chose the big cluster floral image out of the different images from the set. I colored the image with various Copic Markers and added a bit of details here and there with the Prismacolor color pencils. Copic colors I used are: R29, R24, YR07, YR16, Y17, YR23, G14, G19, and G29. I fussy cut the image and covered the edges with black marker for the finished look.

I stenciled the background panel using the Winnie & Walter’s Pattern of the Rings Stencil and Distress ink pads (Crushed Olive, Pine Needle, and Bundled Sage). For the sentiment, I used Altenew’s Floral Frame stamp set. I adhered the background panel on a white A2 card base and added a white die cut frame (Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rectangle Frame). I popped up the flower on the card using foam tape and added some Clear Sparkle pen and white gel pen dots to add interest. I dressed up the card with some Clear Dew Drops from The Ton, and the card was complete!

Ice Winter – Dot.B Stamp

Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well so far! I have another Eunji’s DotBstamp Etsy shop guest post to share with you! For today’s project, I used an adorable set called “Ice Winter.”

Here is the card I made!

EunJoa_IceWinter_FE1.jpg

I started off by printing the Ice Winter images on a Bristol Smooth cardstock. I colored the images (I used 3 images from the set) with Peerless Watercolors and added some details with white gel pen. The colors I used are: Bismark Brown, Warm Sepia, Ecru, Turquoise Blue, Forget Me Not Blue, Marigold Yellow, Chrome Orange, Blood Red, Scarlet Red, Alizarine Red, Lip Smackin’ Pink, Bubble Gum, and Amethyst.  I fussy cut the images put it aside.

I die cut a Bristol Smooth cardstock first with the largest die from The Ton’s Small Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and the SSS’s Birch Tree Window Die next. I ink blended Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink around the top edges. I created a snowy scene with the water droplets and white dots. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment (from Hero Arts’ Winter Time Fun), cut it down to a banner, and adhered it on the panel.  I added double layer of foam tape on the back of the panel to create the shaker window.

On a top folding A2 black card base, I adhered silver glitter cardstock. Then, I added some Iridescent sequins from Darice and Diamond Dust and sealed it with the shaker window. I adhered the colored images on the card and added iridescent sequins to complete the card!

For this month’s challenge, I created a dancing ballerina scene, combining Holiday Ballet Stamp set + Coordinating Dies, Cozy Poinsettia stamp set + Coordinating Dies, Scenes: Fireplace Cling stamp for the background and the Banners-Holiday Add on mini stamp set for the sentiment.

Here’s the card!

Ton_Nov2017Challenge_FE1

To start off, I stamped the ballerina image from the Holiday Ballet stamp set on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in our Noir Dye ink and I colored with the Zig markers. The colors I used are: Light Gray, Flesh Colour, Pale Pink, Light Pink, Mid Brown, and Oatmeal. Then, I cut it out with the Coordinating die and added some highlights with a gold gel pen.

Next, I stamped the Cozy Poinsettia image on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold. I colored the image with various green and red Stabilo68 pens and added bit of details with the Polychromos pencils. I die cut the image out with the Coordinating dies.

Then I moved on to the background. I masked off the top half of the Scenes: Fire Place Rubber Cling stamp and stamped the image on a smooth white cardstock in Copic-safe Caviar Hybrid ink. I colored in using the Copic Markers (E57, E55, and E53). I also splattered some gold ink on top portion of the panel.

On a white A2 top folding card base, I adhered strips of the Glossy Fine Gold Glitter Adhesive paper around the edges and adhered the background panel. I also popped up  the poinsettia image with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Banner-Holiday Add On mini stamp set on a red cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. I cut it down to a thin banner and adhered it on the card. I dressed up with some Medallion Gold Sequins and Deck the Halls Couture Mix and the card was complete!

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and that I was able to inspire you to join our challenge this month! Please visit The Ton’s Challenge Blog for more info.
