I’ve been wanting to try out The Ton Couture Color ink pads for quite some time. Now that I finally have them, I couldn’t wait to try them out! Let me tell ya, these ink pads are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! So crisp and vibrant, I fell in love with them instantly!

You could purchase these ink pads here ->  The Ton Ink Pads

Soooooo… I made a chart to swatch these wonderful inks, using the Microsoft Excel. Let me be honest and tell ya I am not good with Excel what so ever! ^^;; However, if you’d like to use the charts and the ink labels, please feel free! You’ll find the links on the bottom of this post!

Here are the pictures of the swatch chart! 🙂 Arn’t these colors so yummy? Love, love, love!!!

I used the ice cream stamps from the Sundae Bar stamp set for the swatch chart, and a little heart stamp from the Panda Can’t Even stamp set for the ink labels!

There are 2 sets of the labels on one page. One set goes on the front of the ink pad and the other goes on the side.

Chalkboard style Happiest Peonies

Hello everyone! It’s been a while! I was dealing with some health and family issues so I stayed away from blog posting. I’m glad to be back! 🙂

I was going through my old supplies recently, and found a white pastel stick. Since pastel smudged pretty well on the black paper, I decided to try the chalkboard look with the it, and I’m quite happy how this card turned out! 🙂

I used “Happiest Peonies” from The Ton, one of my favorite stamps.

Here is the card!

I first stamped the peonies image on a 110lb black cardstock with white pigment ink from Simon Says Stamps. Then I stamped the sentiment with Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed in white. I heat embossed the sentiment so it doesn’t fade when I smudge the pastel on top. I waited the white ink to dry and colored in highlights with white Prismacolor color pencil. Then I applied white pastel stick here and there, mainly outer crevices of the image, and I smudged the pastel with fingers. I also splattered white dropplets (white color from Gansai Tambi watercolor). When the ink dried completely, I trimmed the panel down to 4″x5.25″, distressed the edges, and adhered black fun foam behind it. On the black A2 size cardbase, I adhered blue denim cardstock (trimmed slightly smaller than the cardbase), and mounted the panel on top. I finished the card off by adding some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and tied jute twine on top.

Here are couple of close-ups!
