Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here and I’m taking over The Ton’s blog today with this beautiful bouquet of layer stamped poppies using our Fresh Cut Poppy stamp set and the new Coordinating Die. I know there are some of you out there intimidated by layer stamping, but this set is very easy to layer. I used both Misti stamping tool and just ordinary acrylic blocks to stamp the images, and I absolutely had no issues.

Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here and I’m over at The Ton’s blog today! For today’s project, I created a card with Thoughtful Poppies stamp set, which is one of my favorite stamp set from the newest release. I watercolored this beautiful image with the Zig markers and added tons of gold to it. I LOVE gold and watercoloring floral images, so it was lots fun creating this card! Hope you’d stop by at The Ton’s blog and check out the details!
I started the card by stamping the Dahlia Close Up Cling stamp on the Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark. I heat embossed the image in white. Then I colored the entire image with green and yellow Zig markers. I blended out the colors with clear sparkled pen instead of clear water. It’s one of my favorite ways to watercolor. When it was completely dry, I trimmed the panel down to 5.5″x4″ and set it aside.
I stamped the sentiment “so lucky to have you as my friend” from the Brushed You stamp set on the 5.5″x 5″ vellum in versamark and heat embossed in gold. I hid some strong double sided tape on the back of big “you” and wrapped in around the entire watercolor panel. I taped it on the back so it doesn’t move around.

Every day in the month of February, the design team members from My Sweet Petunia, The Ton and So Suzy Stamps will create a card using the Mirror Image Stamp. There will be blog posts, videos and a ton of instructions on how we all use the Mirror Image Stamp.
The MirrorImage Stamp is a great stamping tool that works with the MISTI to create reflections and reverse images.
We will have the entire list with links to everyone’s post on the So Suzy Stamps blog so you can come back and see the inspiration on a daily basis. We will also be sharing the cards on Facebook and Instagram, just in case you miss a blog post.
Hello everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous week! I would like to share a card I created for The Ton’s February Challenge. The theme is LOVE and how perfect is that theme for the month of February?!
I chose the Brushed Love and Beautiful Day Bicycle stamp set from the most recent new release to create this card. I think this card would be a perfect for a friend or a special someone. 🙂
Then I stamped the beautiful bicycle image from the Beautiful Day Bicycle stamp set in Noir Dye ink and colored it with some Prismacolor coloring pencils. I cut the image using cutting machine. I added some shimmer with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen and some white dots with gel pen to add more interest.
On a A2 sized card base, I adhered the background panel. I covered the entire panel with vellum and added strips of Fine Transparent Adhesive Glitter paper on the sides. Then I adhered the bicycle image with foam tape to pop it up.
I stamped the sentiment on the black cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I cut it down to a thin banner and adhered it with foam tape.
I finished the card by adding some sequins from the Valentine Frost Couture Mix.
That’s all from me today! Hope you enjoyed the card. Please visit The Ton Challenge Blog for details and to participate. Happy crafting!
