Floral Border stamps – 2 ways

Hello everyone! It’s Jenny here and I’m up on The Ton’s Blog with 4 cards I created using couple of beautiful floral border cling stamps. I absolutely love how these border cling stamps are designed. They are border images built with clusters of beautiful florals images, and they have a hollow space in the middle, perfect to stamp the sentiments or to create shaker cards using the coordinating dies. For today’s projects, I created a set of fun shaker cards, and another set of quick cards with more loose and artistic look. They look very different, but both were so fun to create! I can’t decide which set I like better!

Hope you’d stop by at The Ton’s Blog to check them out!

Hello, everyone! It’s Jenny here and I would like to introduce you to a new fabulous digital stamp shop on Etsy –DotBstamp (https://www.etsy.com/shop/DotBstamp?ref=pr_shop_more)!

There are 5 bundle of images in the shop at the moment, and these absolutely adorable images are illustrated by Eunji. I am a huge fan of her art!

You can check out more details on the shop and the inspirations here: https://eunjoa.blogspot.com/2017/08/dotb-start-on-etsy.html

I created  4 cards with some of the sets and I can’t wait to share them with you! Let’s get started! 🙂

Here’s the first card!

Digital Stamp used: Lalala Animal

DotBstamp_Sing_FE2

I started the card by printing the images from the Lalala Animal  digi stamp set. I colored the images with the Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I traced all the lines with a Black Journaling Pen to make them more bold.

DotBstamp_Sing_CE1

For the background, ink blended Distress inks over the Concerto Layering Stencil . Distress Inks I used are: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Seedless Preserves, and Wilted Violet (Oxide). I also added water splotches for more interest.

When the panel was completely dry, I added die cut framed details and adhered it on a white A2 sized card base. Then I stamped on the sentiment that I thought it goes well with the images.  I popped up the critters with foam tape and adhered the musical note image as well. I added more details with the white gel pen and finished the card by adding some Crystal Iridescent sequins.

Here is the 2nd card!

Digi stamp used: Lalala Animal

DotBstamp_Wall_FE1

I had some left over colored images from the first card, so I decided to make a slightly more simple card with one of the image. To create the background, I ink blended the Fire Brick and Barn Door Distress ink over the Bricked Layer Stencil on Bristol Smooth cardstock. When panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and adhered the panel on a black A2 card base. Then, I popped up a rectangular frame I made using the largest and the second largest layer from The Ton’s Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. After I adhered the colored image on the card, I felt like I needed something else on the card. So, I borrowed a flower image from the School Animal digi stamp set. I colored it with Copic Markers and adhered it next to the critter.

DotBstamp_Wall_CE1

I added Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops on the eyes, shimmer with Clear Sparkle Pen, and some white gel pen details. I added some Glass Slippers Confetti, Lemon Chiffon, and Key Lime sequins and the card was complete!

Here’s the 3rd card!

Digi stamp used: Hawaii Animal

DotBstamp_Hawaii_FE1

I started the card by printing the images from the Hawaii Animal digi stamp set. I colored the images with Copic Markers and added more details with the color pencils and white gel pen. I cut all the images with the ScanNCut2 machine and put it aside.

DotBStamp_Hawaii_CE2

I die cut a circle on a Bristol Smooth cardstock using the 4th largest die from The Ton’s Large Double Stitched Circle Dies. I also used the 4th and 3rd largest die from the same set to created a frame out of Gold Adhesive Glitter paper. To create the beach scene peeking through the window, I used Honey Bee’s Ocean Scene stencils, Ocean Waves dies from Mama Elephant, and the Hillside Border Dies from Lawn Fawn.

DotBstamp_Hawaii_CE1

I adhered the Gold Adhesive Glitter paper on the white A2 card base and adhered all the elements, some popped up with foam tape. I added some Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops on the eyes, added some shimmer with clear Sparkle pen, and finished the card by adding some Medallion Gold sequins and Dew drops.

Last but not least, here’s the final card!

Digi stamp used: School Animal

DotBstamp_Schoolbus_FE1

I printed the images from the School Animal digi stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers. I traced all the images with black Journaling Pen and fussy cut them out.

DotBstamp_Schoolbus_CE1

Then I moved on to making the school bus from scratch. I die cut 3 windows on a Bristol Smooth cardstock using Peek-a-Boo Window dies. Then, I cut out the bottom with Circle Dies, and rounded the corners with the Corner Chomper. I added lines with a black pen, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and added twine around the school bus.

DotBstamp_Schoolbus_CE2

On a black A2 card base, I popped up all the images with foam tape, and added some dotted details with Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops. I adhered Glass Slippers sequins and the card was done!

I had so much fun creating the cards and I hope you enjoyed the cards! I also hope you’d check out these fun and adorable images by Eunji from DotBstamp on Etsy!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous day and happy crating!

This month’s theme is Summer, and I thought it’d be perfect opportunity to create a clear acetate card combining few of our fun summer stamp sets! It reminds me of the clear vinyl beach bag that I carry in the summer. 🙂  I’m featuring our Wave stamp set +Die, Palm Tree stamp set + Dies, and the Mountains stamp set. I had so much fun creating this card and can’t wait to share the process!

Here’s the card!

Ton_AugustChallenge_FE1

I started the card by stamping all the layers of the images with my MINI MISTI stamping tool.

Here is the list of The Ton’s Couture Color Dye Inks I used:

When I was done with stamping, I die cut using Waves Coordinating Die, and the Palm Tress Coordinating Dies. I stamped the Mountains twice to stack them for the height, and I fussy cut them out.

Ton_AugustChallenge_CE2

I created a top folding A2 sized card base out of sturdy clear acetate. I adhered the wave image on the from of the card. Then, I die cut a blank white wave using the coordinating die and adhered on the top inside to cover up the adhesives as well as create a blank space to write.

Ton_AugustChallenge_CE3

Next, I adhered the mountain and Palm Tress images on the card. I stamped the sentiment and the little seagulls in our Noir Dye ink. I also added strip of Glossy fine Silver Adhesive paper on the bottom for added interest. I finished the card by adding few Silver Metallic and the Glass Slippers sequins.

Ton_AugustChallenge_CE1

I think acetate cards are fun and different, and hope I was inspired you to give it a try!

That’s all from me today! Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy crafting!

Coffee & Friends <3

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well!

For today, I would like to share a simple and cute card I made using the Coffee Town stamp set from the Sweet Stamp Shop. I had this set for a while and I thought I’d give it a try! I really like how it turned out!

Here is the card!

CoffeHouse_July_FE1

Supplies used:

I stamped the coffee house image on white cardstock in Caviar Hybrid ink and colored with various Copic Markers. So sorry I don’t have the list of the markers I used. The post-it note that had the list is nowhere to be found. 😦

When I was done with the coloring, I fussy cut the image and went around the edge with the Memento Tuxedo Marker. Next, I masked off top portion of the card base I made out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and ink blended couple of Distress inks. (Vintage Photo and the Ground Espresso) Then, I stamped the sentiment from Altenew’s Coffee Love stamp set on the bottom of the card in Noir Dye ink. I added a strip of Adhesive Glitter Gold paper and adhered the coffee house image on the card. I finished the card by adding Dulce Sequins and the Burnt Caramel Sequins from The Ton.

Don’t you think this card turned out so cute? 🙂 I hope you enjoyed it!

I absolutely love this month’s beautiful and happy board, it was a breeze and so fun to create this month’s project! I decided to create a card that features macarons in a filed of flowers. With that sketch on my mind, I chose following products:

Ton_July2017_FE2

*Backdrop Board used: Natural Wood

I started the card by stamping the Sweet MacaronsAnemone Wishes, and Anemone Cluster images on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark. I heat embossed all the images with the Rose Gold Embossing Powder and colored them with Stabilo 68 pens. I was first introduced to these water-based pens by a dear friend of mine, and I immediately fell in love with the vibrancy as well as how easy to use them. I laid the colors towards the center and the creases of the images where I want the shadows to be, and blended out with the Aquash water brushes. When the images were good and dry, I went ahead and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Ton_July2017Challenge_CE1

The background panel is from my stash I created the other day with Gansai Tambi and Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I die cut the panel with the largest die from the (Small) Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. Flushed to the bottom center, I adhered it an a top folding white A2 card base I made out of Neenah 110lb cardstock. Then I adhered rest of the images, some popped up with the foam tape.

The sentiment is borrowed from the Summer Blooms stamp set, stamped on vellum in our Noir Dye ink. When the ink was dry, I cut it down to a thin banner and adhered it on the card. I added some (mix) Dew Drops, Fairy Pink Sparkling Clear Sequins, and My Tutu Sequins. And that completes the card!

That’s all from me today! Hope you enjoyed today’s project and hope you’d have a ton of fun with this month’s challenge!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!
