Peace, Love and Joy

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I’m over at The Ton’s blog today with a holiday shaker card. This card looks nothing like I initially planned it to be, but I am quite happy with the result! For this card, I used Fresh Cut Poinsettias Outlines, Holiday Cones, Outline Holiday Cones, and Scripty Holiday Grettings stamp set. Poinsettias, pine cones, and sparkles! It screams the Holidays, and I wish it was December already! 🙂 Hope you could stop by and check out the details!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day! 🙂

Thankful Cornucopia in 2 ways

Hello, everyone! I am over at The Ton’s blog today! I’m sharing 2 Thanksgiving cards I created with our new Thankful Cornucopia stamp set and coordinating dies. I used  both larger centerpiece image as well as the little coordinating images from the set to create 2 different looks. Hope you would stop by and check out how I made these cards!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Ruby’s Bridal Shower Blog Hop

I’m so thrilled to be joining Ruby’s Bridal Shower blog hop!  If you haven’t heard the news, the big day happened on Saturday, September 24th.

We’ve rounded up a bunch of crafty friends to celebrate, papercrafter style!  Before you hop around, here are a  couple words from the blushing bride:

“Steve and I are very excited about starting a new life together. We look forward to beautiful memories in a new home and lots of adventures overall. We are grateful for the support and love from our family and friends. My heart is full, and I truly feel so blessed and loved. :)”

Let me show you the card I created to celebrate Ruby’s big day!
For this card, I used Stamping Bella’s Closeups “I Do” stamp set. I colored the image with Copic Markers and added some bling and sparkles!
– I started the card by stamping the image form Stamping Bella’s Closeups “I Do” stamp set on a Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic Markers and die cut the image using the third largest die from the Memory Box Stitched Square dies. I also heat embossed the edges with Wow Silver Super Fine Embossing powder.
– I die cut 2 more squares, one out of We R Memory Keepers dotted acetate and other out of a AC silver glitter cardstock, using the second largest stitched square die from the same set.
– I stamped the MFT’s Bold Diagonal Stripes Background stamp set on the Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock (trimmed slightly smaller than A2 size) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the image multiple times using the MISTI to make sure the stripes are bold and crisp. I also added silver stripes and dots with the silver gel pen and T-ruler. Then I embossed the edges withWow Silver Super Fine Embossing powder. I adhered the panel on to a A2 sized black card base.
– I die cut the “twine” out of silver glitter cardstock using Pretty Pink Posh’s Twine and Bows Dies and adhered it on the left side of the card. Then, I adhered the silver glitter square, polka-dot acetate square, silver embroidery thread, and the main panel onto the card. The main panel is propped up with black fun foam on the back.
– I stamped the sentiment on the black cardstock in Versamark ink, heat embossed with Wow White Super Fine embossing powder, trimmed it down to a strip, and adhered it on the card.
– I added some heart die cuts and shimmers here and there with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen. Then I added some silver dots with gel pen and Glossy Accents here and there.
– I finished the card off by adhering some gems and Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
