I created 2 sunflower cards using many of our products, including our new Sunflower Garden Cling stamp, Modern Labels Stamp set, and the coordinating dies.

Hello and welcome to The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Blog Hop! It’s Jenny here and you are at the right place if you just arrived from fabulous Isha Gupta’s blog!
For this blog hop, I created 2 very different cards. I’m not sure if you have noticed, but I tried to create cards in all variety of style and coloring mediums for this release. Today’s post is not an exception. I created one card with a rustic look with no-line coloring. The other card is a shaker, packed with glam, shine, and sparkle! I can’t wait to share them with you, so let’s get started!
Here is the first card!
I started the card by stamping one of the Perfume bottle image from the Marvelous Perfumes stamp set on a smooth white cardstock in Versamark. The image was then heat embossed in gold. I smudged gold mousse on the image, let it dry and fussy cut. I didn’t have it at the time I was creating this card, but the Marvelous Perfumes Coordinating Dies are available at the shop now. I stamped the same image again but this time in our Noir Dye ink. I partially fussy cut the labels and paper pieced onto the gold perfume bottle image. While I had the gold embossing powder out, I also stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock, heat embossed, and then cut it down to a banner shape.
To create the background, I stamped our new Mini Heart Print Cling stamp on a white smooth cardstock in Versamark. I heat embossed the whole panel with Sparkle Gold embossing powder and trimmed it down to 4.25″x5.5″.
On the shaker, I laid some gold embroidery thread and adhered the perfume bottle image and the sentiment strip on top. I finished the card by adding a tiny shiny heart on the bottle and few Medallion Gold & Black Flora sequins.
Now let’s move on to the other card!
This card is much more toned down and rustic even, but I am very pleased how the no-line coloring on dark kraft paper turned out!
I stamped the Sunflower Bouquet on a dark kraft cardstock in our Warm Hazelnut Dye ink. I thought this light brown ink goes tone-on-tone on the kraft, which makes it perfect for the no-line coloring technique.
I colored the image with the coloring pencils and when the coloring was all done, I added some dots on the center of the flowers with black gel pen. I also stamped the sentiment (from the Fresh Cute Sunflowers stamp set) in Noir Dye ink. I die cut the panel down to A2 size, with the largest die from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and ink blended on the edges only in our Apen Cocoa and Dark Roast Dye ink.
I adhered the panel on a black A2 sized card base, added jute twine, and finished the card by adding some sequins from the new Belle’s Dress Couture Mix.

Hello and welcome to the Day 4 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Week! I have couple of “glam” cards and a watercolor stamped card I’d like to share today! I used our new Sentiment Jewelry, Chandelier, and the Pragmatic Wreaths stamp set to create them. Let’s get started!
I started the card by stamping one of the Jewelry image from our new Sentiment Jewelry stamp set on the vellum in Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Glitter embossing powder. I cut the panel down to slightly smaller than A2 size.
Then I stamped the bride image from the Haute Wedding stamp set on a smooth cardstock in our Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid ink and colored it with the Copic markers. I stamped the lace image from the same set on top of the colored image in Versamark and heat embossed in silver. I die cut the image using the Coordinating die.
I used the die cut image to decide the placement of the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in silver.
I assembled the card on a white A2 sized card base. I popped up the bride image using the foam tape. I finished the card by adding the Silver Holographic Sequins.
Here is the second card!
If the first card was a silver bling, this one is a gold bling! I created this card by collaborating our new Chandelier stamp set and the older sets, Born Classy and the Grand Stairway Cling. I think this card would be perfect for someone who loves glamorous things!
I started the card by stamping the Chandelier on a vellum in Versamark. I heat embossed the image with Gold Glitter embossing powder.
Then I moved on to the lady image from the Born Classy stamp set. I stamped her and her purse on a smooth white cardstock in our Caviar Hybrid ink. I stamped the left side of the dress layer with the Noir Dye ink. Then I stamped the sparkle image on top of the right side of the dress in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. To create the left side layer of the dress, I stamped the image on vellum in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. Since I had the gold powder out, I also went ahead and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of a black cardstock. I colored the lady, her dress layer, and the purse with the Copic markers and die cut using the Coordinating dies.
For the 3rd and final card for today, I went with a totally different mood than the 2 cards above! I tried watercolor stamping with our new Pragmatic Wreaths stamp set. This stamp set is so delicate, dainty, and also very versatile.
Using the Misti tool, I scribbled 2 different shades of green Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers on the wreath image, sprayed tiny bit of water and stamped on the upper right side of a watercolor cardstock. I repeated this twice for all the images to achieve bolder colors. Then I stamped the leaves and the branch image in same way. I repeatedly stamped branch image on the cardstock the same way but I used pink Zig markers for the flowers. I also added pink flowers here and there to fill in the empty spaces. I let it dry completely and die cut using the largest die from the Double Stitched Small Rectangle Dies.
I stamped the sentiment “hope you have a” in Noir Dye ink, and “Fabulous Day” in Grand Fuchsia Dye ink. Then I die cut a panel out of a aqua colored cardstock using the largest die from the Double Stitched Large Rectangle Dies and adhered it on a white A2 sized card base.
I tied a natural color twine and adhered the watercolor panel on the card using fun foam on the back. I finished the card by adding some sequins from our new Rosy Petals Couture Mix and the Glass Slippers Round Confetti.

Hello and welcome to the Day 3 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Week! Hope you are enjoying the new release products and getting inspired by the projects our design team has been sharing! We just revealed final products for this new new release, and the products are finally available at the shop! Yay!
For today, I created 3 cards and an envelope with our new Day 3 products. Without a further adieu, let’s check them out!
Here is the first card!
I created a bold card using our new Dearest Peony stamp set and here is how I created this card:
I started the card by stamping the Peony image from our new Dearest Peony Stamp set on a smooth cardstock in our Copic Friendly Caviar Hybrid ink. Then I colored the image with Copic markers and I also added some depth to the image using the color pencils. When the coloring was done I cut the image out.
I stamped the sentiment on a strip of black cardstsock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I cut the strip down to a banner shape and put it aside for later assembly.
To create the background, I first stamped the Haute Stripes Cling Background stamp on a white smooth cardstock in Noir Dye ink. I used MISTI tool to stamp multiple times to achieve solid bold black color on the panel. Before the ink was completely dry, I sprinkled the Gold Glitter embossing powder and heat set. Then I die cut the panel with the largest die from the Double Stitched Small Dies. I adhered the background panel on a black A2 sized black cardstock.
I adhred the Peony image and the sentiment banner on the card with foam tape and finished the card by adding some Medallion Gold sequins and the new Kiwi Smoothie Couture Mix.
For the second card, I created a bright and colorful floral card with our new Peony Crush Cling stamp and the Modern Labels stamp set (will be debuting on Day 4). I love our cling background stamps because the arrangement of the images are all done for you so you just need to stamp and color on! And that’s what I did with this card!
I started the card by stamping the Peony Crush image on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark. I heat embossed in our Rose Gold embossing powder and colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, blending out the pigment with clear water. When the panel was completely dry, I cut the panel down to 4″x5.5″.
While the watercolor panel was drying, I went ahead and stamped the sentiment and the label image from our new Modern Labels stamp set on vellum in Versamark. I heat embossed with the Rose Gold embossing powder as well. I cut the vellum down to a strip, wrapped it around the watercolor panel and secured it with tape on the back of the panel.
I adhered our Pink Burnished tape on the sides of a white A2 sized card base and then I adhered the watercolor panel on the card popped up with the fun foam on the back.
I finished the card by adding some Tripple Purple sequins, new Guava Sparkle Couture Mix, and new Raspberry Sparkle Couture Mix.
Here is the 3rd and final card for today! I made a matching envelope too! For this project, I used our new Pretty Mail and the Mini Mail Stamp set.
I first stamped the Pretty Mail image on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in Gold. I colored the image with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and blended the pigment out with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen for lots of shimmer! When the panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from our new Mini Mail stamp set in Noir Dye ink. Then I die cut the panel with the largest die from the Double Stitched Small Rectangle Dies. I adhered fun foam on the back of the panel and adhered it on to a black card base trimmed down to slightly smaller than A2. I adhered Burnished Yellow Gold Foil tape all around the card base before adhering the watercolor panel. I finished the card by adding some Medallion Gold sequins and our new Blue Lagoon Couture Mix I put the finished card aside to work on the matching envelope.
I cut down a aqua color cardstock down to 8.5″ square and turned it into an envelope using the envelope punch board. Before the assembly, I stamped the Pretty Mail image in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. I also stamped and heat embossed “Kindly Deliver to:” in Gold. On the aqua cardstock scrap, I stamped the heart image that says “You’ve Got Pretty Mail” and heat embossed in Gold. I cut the heart and added double side adhesive on the back to turn it into a seal for the envelope.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Day 2 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Week! I created couple of floral cards with our new Wishful Wildflowers and the Wildflower Banner. I achieved a very bold look with one card, and another with a soft watercolor look. I can’t wait to share them with you so let’s get started!
Here ‘s the first card!
I had so much fun creating this card using our new absolutely beautiful Wishful Wildflowers stamp set. I achieved a very bold yet clean look by coloring with the Copic markers and adding more details with color pencils.
I started the card by stamping the Wildflower images on a smooth white cardstock in our Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid Ink. Then I drew in the frame around the image using T-ruler and black journaling pen.
I colored the images with Copic markers. I don’t really have usual combinations when I color with Copics. I just use color chart and grab colors as I need them. When I was done with coloring with Copic markers, I decided that I needed little bit of that oomph! And that’s exactly what I did with the color pencils. Color pencils add so much more depth to the image, because the sharp tip could add so much more fine details. When I was done with that, I still thought I need something more, so I grabbed few gray Copic markers and added some shaing around the images and the frame.
Then I stamped the sentiment in Versamark on a strip of a black cardstock and heat embossed in white. For the “hello” sentiment, I die cut our Hello Word Die 5 times on a black cardstock and I glued them all together.
I adhered the colored panel on a white A2 cardbase and then the sentiment strip as well as the word die cut.
For the second card, I used our new Wildflower Banners stamp set, and I went with the softer watercolor look.
I stamped the Wildflower Banner image on a watercolor cardstock in Versamark and and heat embossed with the Silver Pearl embossing powder.
Then, I watercolored the image with the Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. When it was completely dry, I added Perfect Peal + water and splattered all over the panel. When it was bone dry, I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Double Stitched Small Rectangle Dies.
To create the background panel, I ink blended Orchid Crush Dye, and the Hollywood Star Dye ink on a Bristol Smooth Cardstock cut down to 4.25″x5.5″. I also added some shimmer with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen.
I adhered the background panel on white A2 card base. Then I adhered the watercolored panel on top, using the fun foam.
I finished the card by adding some sequins from our new Pink Diamond Couture Mix, Pretty Petals Couture Mix, and the Glass Slippers Round Confetti.

Hello, Everyone! It’s Jenny here, and welcome to the Day 1 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Week! We will be showcasing lots of beautiful new products this week. For today, I made few cards using Fresh Cut Sunflowers, Sunflower Bouquet, and the Peony Cluster Mini (GWP item)! I can’t wait to show them… so… Let’s get started! 🙂
Here is the first card!
For this card, I used our new Fresh Cut Sunflowers, 6×8 Clear stamp set. This is a layer stamp set and it was so easy to line the them up! I didn’t really have a plan when I started stamping the sunflower images. However, when I was done stamping, I thought the rustic would work so that’s the look I went with!
Here’s how I created this card:
I started by stamping the layers of the sunflower images and the leaves. The inks I used for the flower I used are Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Coral Cavern, Warm Hazelnut, and Aspen Cocoa. For the leaves and the stems, I used the Crystal Garden Collection. When I was done with stamping, I cut the images out. I fussed around with the images, made a bouquet and secured them with tape and also foam tape for dimension.
On a A2 sized black card base, I adhered a burlap cardstock cut down to 4″x5.5″. Then I adhered the sunflower bouquet. I also stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I cut the sentiment down to a small banner shape and adhered it on the card.
For added interest, I wrapped some jute twine on top of the card and finished the card by adding sequins from our new Belle’s Dress Couture Mix.
Let’s move on to the second card!
I created a bright cheerful card using out new Sunflower Bouquet 4×6 Clear stamp set. I really love this happy mix of yellow, orange, and pop of turquoise!
I started the card by stamping the sunflower bouquet image and the sentiment (from the Fresh Cut Sunflowers set) on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in our Noir Dye ink. I stamped multiple time using Misti then I quickly sprinkled clear embossing powder and heat set.
I colored the image with Stabilo 68 pens + water. When it was completely dry, I added bit of color pencil here and there to darken the shading. I die cut the panel using the biggest layer from the Double Stitched Rectangle (small) Dies.
To create the turquoise background panel, I smudged Hot Tourmaline Dye ink on a Bristol Smooth cardstock. When the panel was dry, I die cut the panel using the biggest layer from the Double Stitched Rectangle (large) Dies. I adhered the background panel on a A2 sized white card base.
Then I adhered the watercolored panel using the fun foam and finished the card by adding some sequins from the Belle’s Dress Couture Mix and Glass Slippers Round Confetti (Mixed). I also added bit of shimmer using the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
Last but not least, here is the 3rd and the final card for today!
I made a shiny gold and purple shaker card using our new Peony Cluster Mini 2×3 Clear stamp set. This stamp set is a “Gift With Purchase – GWP” item and I’m totally in love with it! I have so many ideas how to use this petite little stamp set!
Here’s how I made this card!
I started by stamping the Peony image on a Bristol Smooth carstock in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. I also borrowed some leaf images from both Fresh Cut Sunflowers and the Coordinating Outlines stamp set. I colored all the heat embossed images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. When the images were completely dry, I cut them out.
On a smooth cardstock cut down to 4″x5.5″ and another cut down to a smaller size, I splattered gold paint all over and let it dry completely.
I cut a window out on the bigger gold splattered panel using the 3rd largest layer from the Double Stitched Circle Small Die and adhered the acetate and double layer of foam tape to create the shaker frame. I filled the shaker frame with Medallion Gold Mixed sequins, Crystal Flora Sequins, Belle’s Dress Couture Mix, and the Violet Sprinkle Couture Mix. I sealed the shaker frame with the smaller gold splattered panel.
I adhered the Burnished Yellow Gold Fold Tape on the sides of a white A2 card base and adhered the shaker card. Then I adhered the Peony and the leaves, some using foam tape.
I finished the card off by adding some sequins from both Belle’s Dress Couture Mix and Violet Sprinkle Couture Mix. I also added bit of shimmer on the Peony with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

I started the card by stamping the macaron tower image from the Sweet Macarons stamp set on a white smooth cardstock in Copic safe Caviar Hybrid ink. Then I stamped the layers using both Ballet Slippers Dye and Hollywood Star Dye ink, using the rock-and-roll technique to create bit more interest. I colored the platters and the flower with Copic markers and added in some shaing with Prismacolor color pencils. I also added some white highlights using the white gel pen. I die cut the image using the Coordinating die.
I stamped 4 different butterfly images from the Beautiful Butterflies1 stamp set on the vellum in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I die cut all the images with the Coordinating dies.
I stamped the sentiment from the Macarons set on a strip of a vellum in Versamark and heat embossed in white.
I created the fun background by stamping the Polka Dot Cling Background stamp twice on the kraft cardstock, first in Hampton White Pigment ink and then in Hollywood Star Dye ink. When the pigment ink was dry, I added bit of color pencils on some of the dots. I trimmed the panel down to 4×5.25″, added the sentiment strip on the bottom and adhered it on a white A2 sized card base.
Then I adhered the macaron tower image with 3M foam tape, and glued down all the butterflies around the image.
