Day 1 Products
For the 1st card, I went with our new Buildable Woodgrain stamp set and the Daisy Duet (GWP) stamp set. It was so much fun to create my own woodgrain background. You can stamp in so many different ways and there are infinite possibilities! I stamped it on a kraft cardstock to create more rustic feel to it.
Here’s the card!
I started off by stamping the Buildable Woodgrain stamp set on a kraft cardstock in Found Topaz Dye, Aspen Cocoa Dye, and Dark Roast Dye ink. I flipped around some stamps here and there to create the natural look. I die cut the panel using the largest die from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a black cardbase slightly wider than A2 size.
Then, I stamped our new Daisy Duet stamp set on a smooth white cardstock in our Copic-friendly Caviar Hybrid ink and colored the image with Copic Markers. The colors I used are Y06, Y13, Y17, Y15, Y38, Yr04, YR09, R08, YG68, YG17, YG03, and YG01. I also added more details with color pencils and traced the lines with black journaling pen. I fussy cut it out (I didn’t have the Coordinating die at the moment) and popped it up on the card. I stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I cut it down to a banner and popped it up on the card. I added some white gel pen dots on the daisies and finished the card off by adding some Clear Dew Drops.
I am showcasing our new Coming Up Daisies for the 2nd card. Let’s take a look!
To start off, I stamped the Coming Up Daisies on a watercolor paper and heat embossed in Silver. I colored the background with Navy Gansai Tambi watercolors and colored the daisies with Gansai Tambi (Plum), Color Burst (Lime Green & Peony), and the Dark Gray Zig marker for the center. I let it dry completely, die cut it with the largest die from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, and adhered it to a white A2 card base.
To add interest, I stamped our Minor Stripes Cling stamp on a strip of a pink cardstock and popped it up with foam tape on the left side of the card. I added a sentiement strip heat embossed in white on a black cardstock, and dressed up the card with some Clear Dew Drops and our new Pink Blossoms Couture Mix.
For the 3rd card, I combined our new Large Florals: Daisies stamp set and the Seriously Amazing stamp set. It was a breeze to layer stamp this large Daisy and I LOVE adding the humorous sentiments over the image!
Here’s the card!
First, I stamped all the layers of the Large Florals: Daisies in Soft Orchid Dye, Orchid Crush Dye, Grand Fuchsia Dye, Vanilla Frosted Cupcake Dye, Amber Citrine Dye, and Dark Roast Dye ink on a smooth white cardstock to create this beautiful large daisy.
Then I stamped the sentiments from the Seriously Amazing stamp sets in Noir Dye ink multiple times using MISTI, making them wet enough to pour Clear embossing powder over it and heat set. I tilted the sentiments in different angles to create interest. I rounded the corners with the Corner Chomper and adhered in on the pink A2 card base on an angle. I dressed up the card with our new Pink Blossom Couture Mix and Lilac Blooms Couture Mix and the card was complete!
For the final card for today, I created a masculine winter card showcasing our new Winter Cardinal stamp set.
Here’s the card!
I stamped the Winter Cardinal and heat embossed in white first on the black cardstock and then also on the kraft cardstock. Then I cut both images down to quarter inch strips and pieced them together on a black square cardstock. I popped up every other strip with foam tape to create more interest.
Next, I stamped the brach images in Crystal Pewter Dye, Smoky Quartz Dye, Noir Dye, and Hampton White Pigment ink on a gray A2 cardbase. I stamped the sentiment in Noir Dye ink and adhered the cardinal on the card. I finished the card off by adding some Glass Slippers Sequins and Clear Rhinestones.
