I started of stamping our new City Buildings Cling Background stamp on a Bristol Smooth Cardstock in Versamark ink. I heat embossed the panel in white and ink blended our Soft Garnet Dye and Rose Quartz Dye Couture Inks. Then I cut a little opening on the bottom right corner using the 3rd largest die from our Large Double Stitched Circle Dies and set it aside. Next, I stamped the Mini Heart Print Cling Background Stamp on a smooth white cardstock and heat embossed in silver to create the background panel.
I stamped one of the kitty image from our Love and a Cat stamp set in our Copic-friendly Caviar Hybrid ink, colored it with Copic markers, and fussy cut it out. Colors I used are C3, C2, C1, C00, and R20. I also stamped the sentiment from the same set on a black cardstock, heat embossed in white, and cut it to a little banner. Next, I assembled all the elements on to a top folding A2 white card base and finished the card off by adding some Clear Rhinestones and sequins from our new Pink Blossoms Couture Mix.
Moving on to my 2nd project! For this project, I used our new Smooched Stamp set and the Mini Heart Print Cling stamp.
I started off by stamping the biggest lips image from our new Smooched stamp set on white cardstock in our Red Sangria Hybrid ink and fussy cut it out. Then I stamped the Mini Heart Print Cling stamp on a black cardstock and heat embossed in white. I also vertically stamped the sentiment (which I think it’s hilarious! lol!) on a smooth white cardstock in our Noir Dye ink. I put those 2 panels together, worked out to the proportion I was happy with, and die cut it out with our biggest layer from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Hope you’ve been enjoying the 3rd Anniversary Release new product reveals and inspirations from our team. 🙂 I am so in love with our entire new product collection and it was a tough choice to make, but I decided to go with our new Riotous Wildflower stamp from Day 1 and The Most Interesting Cardmaker stamp set from the Day 2 for today’s project. This stamp is a large 6×6 clear stamp and I used the entire image by splitting it into 2 cards.
Here’s the 1st card!
I started off by stamping the Riotous Wildflower on a Bristol Smooth cardstock and heat embossing in our Rose Gold embossing powder. I colored the entire panel with Scarlet Red, Deep Red, and Persian Green Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, blending out the pigment with water brush.
When the panel was completely dry, I cut it down to 4″x5.5″ inch panel and set the rest of the panel for the 2nd card. I swiped Versamark ink all around the edge and heat embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder for a more finished look. I heat embossed (also in Rose Gold) the sentiment from The Most Interesting Cardmaker stamp set on a strip of vellum and adhered it around the panel. I popped up the panel on the kraft card base with foam tape and finished off the card by adding some sequins from our new Rose Champagne Sparkle Couture Mix.
Here’s the 2nd card I created using the left over piece from the 1st card!
To start off, I stamped the sentiment from the older set The New Pretty stamp set multiple times on left side of a kraft cardstock in Versamark. I heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder and die cut the panel using the largest die from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it on a A2 kraft cardstock.
Next I adhered Burnished Rose Gold Foil tape on the left side of the card and popped up the left over watercolor piece from the 1st card. I gave the watercolor piece stitched detail all around using the same die. I dressed up the card with some rose gold sequins from the Rose Champagne Sparkle Couture Mix and the card was complete!

Today, we’re also introducing 2 types of gems a new type of gilding: feathers!

Our new feather embellishments compliment our floral stamps so well. Add a feather (or two) to create more dimension to your cards!
For today’s 1st card, I’m showcasing our new Sweet Folk Hummingbird stamp set. I’m so in love how these tulips are illustrated. As soon as I saw this stamp set, gold & purple popped into my head!
Here’s the card!
I started off by stamping both the tulips and the hummingbird from our new Sweet Folk Hummingbird stamp set on a watercolor cardstock and heat embossing it in gold. I colored it with Color Burst powders. I used Orchid, Violet, Peony, Lemon Yellow, Sap Green, and Lime Green. I fussy cut (I didn’t have the Coordinating Dies at the moment) the humming bird and set it aside and die cut the tulip panel with the largest die from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I splattered diluted Orchid & Violet Color Burst all over the panel, let it dry completely, and ink blended Iris Blooms Dye and Soft Amethyst Dye ink.
I stamped the sentiment in Plum Wine Dye ink and adhered the on the white A2 cardstock. I popped up the watercolored hummingbird on the card with foam tape and finished the card off by adhering Triple Purple Crown Sequins, Glass Slippers Sequins, and our new Pink Cosmo Twist Couture Mix.
For the 2nd card, I created a fun shaker card using our new Smooched Stamp set and XOXO Mini stamp set. Let’s take a look! 🙂
I started the card by stamping the lip images from the Smooched Stamp set on a smooth white cardstocks in Rose Quartz Dye, Soft Garnet Dye, Red Sangria Hybrid, and Valentine Red Dye ink. I trimmed the panel down slightly smaller than A2 size and die cut a window with the 2nd smallest die from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I stamped and heat embossed XOXO Mini stamp image on a heat resistant acetate and adhered it on the back of the panel lined up with the window. I added double layer of foam tape on the back, filled inside with our new Pink Bokeh Couture Mix, Pink Blossoms Couture Mix, Sakura Petals Couture Mix and closed it up with Glossy Fine Transparent Adhesive paper to complete the shaker. I adhered it on a A2 red card base and finished the card by adding some sequins from the Pink Bokeh Couture Mix.

For today’s 1st card, I decided to go with our new beautiful Haute Gala Dress stamp set. Oh how I LOVE this set! I did no-line coloring for the image and I’m pleased how it turned out!
Here’s the card!
I started off by stamping the Haute Gala Dress image in Ballet Slippers on a watercolor paper. I watercolored the upper body with Peerless Watercolors for more control and the skirt with Peony Color Burst. I let the color Burst bloom wildly all over the skirt area to create a dreamy effect. I let it dry completely and stamped the sparkle layer in Versamark and heat embossed with sparkle powder. I cut a tiny strip of sparkly silver belt out of our Glossy Fine Silver adhesive paper and adhered on the image with few Clear Rhinestones over it. I stamped the sentiment in Noir Dye ink and trimmed the panel down to 5″x7″. I adhered the panel on a gray card base with a pink panel sandwiched in between. I added Clear Rhinestones and Glass Slippers Sequin and the card was complete!
For the 2nd card, I’m showcasing our new Peony Bouquet stamp set and The Most Interesting Cardmaker Stamp set for the sentiment.
Here’s the card!
To start off, I stamped the Peony Bouquet on a watercolor cardstock in Noir Dye ink multiple times using the MISTI and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the image with Peony, Prussian Blue, Marigold, Alizarin Crimson, Lemon Yellow, Orchid, Sap Green, and Lime Green Color Burst Powders to create a colorful bouquet of peonies. I colored the crystal bowl with Cobalt Blue Zig Marker. I let it dry completely and die cut the panel using the 2nd largest die from the Large Double Stitched Square Dies.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from our new The Most Interesting Cardmaker stamp set on a Vellum strip, heat embossed in white, and adhered it around the bottom of the panel. I didn’t have a card base with a perfect hue, so I created my own by smudging the Iris Blooms Dye ink on a white square cardbase. I popped up the watercolored panel on the card base and dressed it up with the sequins from our new Lilac Blooms Couture Mix from Day1 to complete the card.

Day 1 Products
For the 1st card, I went with our new Buildable Woodgrain stamp set and the Daisy Duet (GWP) stamp set. It was so much fun to create my own woodgrain background. You can stamp in so many different ways and there are infinite possibilities! I stamped it on a kraft cardstock to create more rustic feel to it.
Here’s the card!
I started off by stamping the Buildable Woodgrain stamp set on a kraft cardstock in Found Topaz Dye, Aspen Cocoa Dye, and Dark Roast Dye ink. I flipped around some stamps here and there to create the natural look. I die cut the panel using the largest die from our Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a black cardbase slightly wider than A2 size.
Then, I stamped our new Daisy Duet stamp set on a smooth white cardstock in our Copic-friendly Caviar Hybrid ink and colored the image with Copic Markers. The colors I used are Y06, Y13, Y17, Y15, Y38, Yr04, YR09, R08, YG68, YG17, YG03, and YG01. I also added more details with color pencils and traced the lines with black journaling pen. I fussy cut it out (I didn’t have the Coordinating die at the moment) and popped it up on the card. I stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I cut it down to a banner and popped it up on the card. I added some white gel pen dots on the daisies and finished the card off by adding some Clear Dew Drops.
I am showcasing our new Coming Up Daisies for the 2nd card. Let’s take a look!
To start off, I stamped the Coming Up Daisies on a watercolor paper and heat embossed in Silver. I colored the background with Navy Gansai Tambi watercolors and colored the daisies with Gansai Tambi (Plum), Color Burst (Lime Green & Peony), and the Dark Gray Zig marker for the center. I let it dry completely, die cut it with the largest die from the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, and adhered it to a white A2 card base.
To add interest, I stamped our Minor Stripes Cling stamp on a strip of a pink cardstock and popped it up with foam tape on the left side of the card. I added a sentiement strip heat embossed in white on a black cardstock, and dressed up the card with some Clear Dew Drops and our new Pink Blossoms Couture Mix.
For the 3rd card, I combined our new Large Florals: Daisies stamp set and the Seriously Amazing stamp set. It was a breeze to layer stamp this large Daisy and I LOVE adding the humorous sentiments over the image!
Then I stamped the sentiments from the Seriously Amazing stamp sets in Noir Dye ink multiple times using MISTI, making them wet enough to pour Clear embossing powder over it and heat set. I tilted the sentiments in different angles to create interest. I rounded the corners with the Corner Chomper and adhered in on the pink A2 card base on an angle. I dressed up the card with our new Pink Blossom Couture Mix and Lilac Blooms Couture Mix and the card was complete!
For the final card for today, I created a masculine winter card showcasing our new Winter Cardinal stamp set.
Here’s the card!
I stamped the Winter Cardinal and heat embossed in white first on the black cardstock and then also on the kraft cardstock. Then I cut both images down to quarter inch strips and pieced them together on a black square cardstock. I popped up every other strip with foam tape to create more interest.
For each Release Day (1 through 3), The Ton is giving away a stamp set of choice from the new release! So there are four stamps up for grabs! I am so in love with our September Mood Board and was kind of getting tired of hot Summer days, so making a Fall themed card was so much fun! I combined few stamp sets and coordinating dies both from recent release as well as last year’s. Let me show you the card and get into the details!
To start off, I created the background panel. I scribbled various Zig markers (Yellow, Orange, Scarlet Red, Carmine Red, and Green) on a watercolor cardstock, sprayed clean water over it, let the colors blend, and heat set it using the heat tool. I die cut the panel using the Large Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, and adhered it on to a A2 white card base.
I also stamped the girl and the bouquet image from City Girls: Book Life in Noir Dye ink, Colored with Zig markers, and die cut using the Coordinating Dies.
Then I adhered all the images (some popped-up with foam tape) and added the sentiment. Sentiment is from the Basic Labels set and stamped in Noir Dye ink.

DAY 1 PRODUCTS
Hello, Everyone! It’s Jenny here, and welcome to the Day 1 of The Ton’s Spring 2017 Release Week! We will be showcasing lots of beautiful new products this week. For today, I made few cards using Fresh Cut Sunflowers, Sunflower Bouquet, and the Peony Cluster Mini (GWP item)! I can’t wait to show them… so… Let’s get started! 🙂
Here is the first card!
For this card, I used our new Fresh Cut Sunflowers, 6×8 Clear stamp set. This is a layer stamp set and it was so easy to line the them up! I didn’t really have a plan when I started stamping the sunflower images. However, when I was done stamping, I thought the rustic would work so that’s the look I went with!
Here’s how I created this card:
I started by stamping the layers of the sunflower images and the leaves. The inks I used for the flower I used are Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Coral Cavern, Warm Hazelnut, and Aspen Cocoa. For the leaves and the stems, I used the Crystal Garden Collection. When I was done with stamping, I cut the images out. I fussed around with the images, made a bouquet and secured them with tape and also foam tape for dimension.
On a A2 sized black card base, I adhered a burlap cardstock cut down to 4″x5.5″. Then I adhered the sunflower bouquet. I also stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock in Versamark and heat embossed in white. I cut the sentiment down to a small banner shape and adhered it on the card.
For added interest, I wrapped some jute twine on top of the card and finished the card by adding sequins from our new Belle’s Dress Couture Mix.
Let’s move on to the second card!
I created a bright cheerful card using out new Sunflower Bouquet 4×6 Clear stamp set. I really love this happy mix of yellow, orange, and pop of turquoise!
I started the card by stamping the sunflower bouquet image and the sentiment (from the Fresh Cut Sunflowers set) on a Bristol Smooth cardstock in our Noir Dye ink. I stamped multiple time using Misti then I quickly sprinkled clear embossing powder and heat set.
I colored the image with Stabilo 68 pens + water. When it was completely dry, I added bit of color pencil here and there to darken the shading. I die cut the panel using the biggest layer from the Double Stitched Rectangle (small) Dies.
To create the turquoise background panel, I smudged Hot Tourmaline Dye ink on a Bristol Smooth cardstock. When the panel was dry, I die cut the panel using the biggest layer from the Double Stitched Rectangle (large) Dies. I adhered the background panel on a A2 sized white card base.
Then I adhered the watercolored panel using the fun foam and finished the card by adding some sequins from the Belle’s Dress Couture Mix and Glass Slippers Round Confetti (Mixed). I also added bit of shimmer using the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
Last but not least, here is the 3rd and the final card for today!
I made a shiny gold and purple shaker card using our new Peony Cluster Mini 2×3 Clear stamp set. This stamp set is a “Gift With Purchase – GWP” item and I’m totally in love with it! I have so many ideas how to use this petite little stamp set!
Here’s how I made this card!
I started by stamping the Peony image on a Bristol Smooth carstock in Versamark and heat embossed in gold. I also borrowed some leaf images from both Fresh Cut Sunflowers and the Coordinating Outlines stamp set. I colored all the heat embossed images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. When the images were completely dry, I cut them out.
On a smooth cardstock cut down to 4″x5.5″ and another cut down to a smaller size, I splattered gold paint all over and let it dry completely.
I cut a window out on the bigger gold splattered panel using the 3rd largest layer from the Double Stitched Circle Small Die and adhered the acetate and double layer of foam tape to create the shaker frame. I filled the shaker frame with Medallion Gold Mixed sequins, Crystal Flora Sequins, Belle’s Dress Couture Mix, and the Violet Sprinkle Couture Mix. I sealed the shaker frame with the smaller gold splattered panel.
I adhered the Burnished Yellow Gold Fold Tape on the sides of a white A2 card base and adhered the shaker card. Then I adhered the Peony and the leaves, some using foam tape.
I finished the card off by adding some sequins from both Belle’s Dress Couture Mix and Violet Sprinkle Couture Mix. I also added bit of shimmer on the Peony with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

Now, without further ado, let me introduce you the 2 cards I’ve created!
For this card, I used 3 new stamp sets – Born Classy, Plus One, and Holiday Confetti. I adore this beautiful couple! It’s so fun to dress them like paper dolls! If you remember the card I created for day 2 of the release week, I gave this gal a Greek goddess look! She wore a white dress with beautiful gold trimmed chiffon chiton. This time, she’s wearing a sexy black dress with gold sparkles. The handsome guy is wearing a black tuxedo with gold trims that matches his beautiful date! Don’t you think this couple is dressed perfectly for a formal New Year party? 🙂
I started the card by stamping the lady image from our new Born Classy stamp set and the man image from Plus One stamp set. I stamped both images on smooth white cardstock in our Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid ink. I colored both images with various Copic markers.
For the lady image, I stamped the sparkle dress layer with embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I drew in lines and dots with gold gel pen on the man image to add some interest. I fussy cut both images.
On a smooth white cardstock, I stamped the confetti image from our new Holiday Confetti stamp set on 2 corners with embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I trimmed the sides down slightly narrower than 4″
I adhered our beautiful Gold Burnished Foil tape on the A2 black card base so it would peek through between the card base and the main panel.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold on a strip of a black cardstock.
I adhered the main panel then the couple image. I adhered the sentiment strip with foam tape.
This second card was designed around the sentiment, “mistletoe kisses and joyful holiday wishes”. Mistletoe and pine cones are “hung” on gold threads, waiting for sweet couples to stop by for kisses. 🙂
I colored all images and the background with various Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (blended with clear water) and let it dry completely. Then I added some details on the images with the Prismacolor color pencils. I also stamped a detail layer on the poinsettia image and heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder.
I drew in gold threads with gold gel pen. I also added some highlights on the berries with the same gel pen.
I trimmed the panel down to 4″x5.5″, wiped the embossing ink around the panel, and heat embossed with gold sparkle embossing powder.
I stamped the sentiment from our newMistletoe Kisses stamp set on a strip of vellum with the embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I wrapped the sentiment strip around the panel and adhered it on the back. I also adhered black fun foam trimmed slightly smaller than the panel.
On the A2 card base, I adhered strips of our Gold Adhesive Glitter paper on the vertical sides and adhered the main panel on top.
I made some bows with gold thread and glued them on the pine cones and added bit of glitter glue on the bow.
That’s all from me for today and don’t forget to comment on every stop for maximum giveaway entries! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my cards as well as all of the beautiful projects from our team and the guests!
