Now, without further ado, let me introduce you the 2 cards I’ve created!

For this card, I used 3 new stamp sets – Born Classy, Plus One, and Holiday Confetti. I adore this beautiful couple! It’s so fun to dress them like paper dolls! If you remember the card I created for day 2 of the release week, I gave this gal a Greek goddess look! She wore a white dress with beautiful gold trimmed chiffon chiton. This time, she’s wearing a sexy black dress with gold sparkles. The handsome guy is wearing a black tuxedo with gold trims that matches his beautiful date! Don’t you think this couple is dressed perfectly for a formal New Year party?  🙂

fdaybh_ny_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping the lady image from our new Born Classy stamp set and the man image from Plus One stamp set. I stamped both images on smooth white cardstock in our Copic friendly Caviar Hybrid ink. I colored both images with various Copic markers.
  • For the lady image, I stamped the sparkle dress layer with embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I drew in lines and dots with gold gel pen on the man image to add some interest. I fussy cut both images.
  • On a smooth white cardstock, I stamped the confetti image from our new Holiday Confetti stamp set on 2 corners with embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I trimmed the sides down slightly narrower than 4″
  • I adhered our beautiful Gold Burnished Foil tape on the A2 black card base so it would peek through between the card base and the main panel.
  • I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold on a strip of a black cardstock.
  • I adhered the main panel then the couple image. I adhered the sentiment strip with foam tape.
  • I finished the card by adding some Matte Gold sequins.

fdaybh_ny_ce1

This second card was designed around the sentiment, “mistletoe kisses and joyful holiday wishes”. Mistletoe and pine cones are “hung” on gold threads, waiting for sweet couples to stop by for kisses. 🙂

The sentiment is from our new Mistletoe Kisses stamp set, and I mix-matched various images from the Holiday Cones, Outline Holiday Cones, Fresh Cut Poinsettias, and Outline Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp set.

fdaybh_mistletoe_fe1

  • First I planned where to stamp different images on the card and prepared masks accordingly.
  • I stamped various images from the Holiday Cones, Outline Holiday Cones, Fresh Cut Poinsettias, and Outline Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp set, using masking technique to achieve some dimensions. All images are stamped with our Warm Hazelnut dye ink for no-line coloring.
  • I colored all images and the background with various Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (blended with clear water) and let it dry completely. Then I added some details on the images with the Prismacolor color pencils. I also stamped a detail layer on the poinsettia image and heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder.
  • I drew in gold threads with gold gel pen. I also added some highlights on the berries with the same gel pen.
  • I trimmed the panel down to 4″x5.5″, wiped the embossing ink around the panel, and heat embossed with gold sparkle embossing powder.
  • I stamped the sentiment from our newMistletoe Kisses stamp set on a strip of vellum with the embossing ink and heat embossed in gold. I wrapped the sentiment strip around the panel and adhered it on the back. I also adhered black fun foam trimmed slightly smaller than the panel.
  • On the A2 card base, I adhered strips of our Gold Adhesive Glitter paper on the vertical sides and adhered the main panel on top.
  • I made some bows with gold thread and glued them on the pine cones and added bit of glitter glue on the bow.
  • I finished the card by adding some sequins from our new Elf Stockings Couture Mix as well as our Matte Gold & Glass Slippers sequins.

fday4_cheers_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping the confetti image from our new Holiday Confetti image on 2 corners of a heavy black cardstock with the embossing ink and heat embossed with gold glitter embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment “cheers” from our new Brushed Cheers stamp set and heat embossed with the same embossing powder. I trimmed the panel down to 4″x5.5″.
  • On a strip of a vellum, I stamped the sentiment “To a Fabulous New Year” from the Brushed Cheers set with the embossing ink. I also stamped the small drink images from our new Plus One stamp set repeatedly across the vellum strip with the embossing ink. I heat embossed the vellum with the gold embossing powder.
  • I wrapped the vellum around the main panel and adhered in on the back. I cut narrow strips of our beautiful Gold Adhesive Glitter paper and adhered it on the 2 horizontal edges of the vellum strip. I adhered black fun foam behind the panel.

  • I finished the card by adding gold thread of top of the card and some Medallion Gold sequins.

For the second card, I tried to create a card with the traditional Christmas look!

I created this beautiful Christmas card using our new Brushed Merry stamp set as well as the Fresh Cut Poinsettia stamp set from day 3!

fday4_merry_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping “Merry” from our new Brushed Merry stamp set on a smooth white cardstock with the embossing ink and heat embossed with the gold embossing powder.
  • Then I layer stamped the poinsettia images from our new Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp set and fussy cut. I used our Coral Cavern, Red Sangria Hybrid, Lipstick Red, and Valentine Red ink for the poinsettias and Soft Garden and Bright Fern dye inks for the leaves. I heat embossed the most detail layer on the poinsettia images. I also stamped the second layer of the candle image from the same set on the vellum with the embossing ink, heat embossed with the gold glitter embossing powder and fussy cut.
  • I stamped the sentiment on the black cardstock, heat embossed in gold, and cut it down to a banner shape.
  • I adhered our Gold Burnished Foil tape on all 4 edges of a white card base and adhered the main panel on top. Then I assembled the fussy cut images and the sentiment banner on the card front.
  • I finished the card off by adding some sequins from our new Winter Frost Couture Mix, Santa’s Sneezes Couture mixand the Medallion Gold sequins.

For the third one, I created beautiful holiday shaker card!

I used our new Holiday Border Stamp and Santa’s Sneezes Couture Mix for this card. I also used Mistletoe Kisses and Outline Fresh Cut Poinsettia stamp set from day 3.

fday4_rshaker_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping our new Holiday Border on the cold press Arches watercolor paper with embossing ink and heat embossed in white. I colored the entire border with red Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I splattered some white watercolor pigment and let the panel dry completely.
  • I stamped the sentiment from our new Mistletoe Kisses stamp set in the middle of the watercolor panel and heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder. I watercolored around the sentiment using the same red watercolor. I let it dry completely and rubbed in tiny bit of Perfect Pearl powder for added sparkle and shine.
  • I die cut the shaker frame by using the largest and third largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangle die set. Using the outer die cut frame as a guide, I adhered the inside panel on the A2 white card base. I adhered acetate and double layered foam tape on the outer die cut to create the shaker frame.
  • I put our Santa’s Sneezes Couture Mix in the middle of the card and sealed it with the shaker frame.
  • I stamped a poinsettia image from our Outline Fresh Cut Poinsettia stamp set on the vellum with the embossing ink, heat embossed in silver, adhered Stick-It sheet, and fussy cut.
  • On the top left corner, I adhered 2 strips of our Silver think Glitter tape. I placed some silver thread and adhered the poinsettia.
  • I finished the card by adding some sequins from the Santa’s Sneezes Couture Mix and Glass Slippers sequins. I also added few clear gems.

Let me show you the first card! I wanted to create something different yet elegant, so I created a chalkboard look with touch of gold!

I used the Fresh Cut Poinsettias Outlines and Mistletoe Kisses stamp set for the sentiment.

fday3_chalk_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping various of images from our new Fresh Cut Poinsettia Outlines stamp set on a heavy black cardstock with our Hampton White Pigment ink. Then I colored the image (mainly just the edges of the images) with the white Prismacolor color pencil. I went over here and there with the white pastel and smudged it with my fingers to create the chalkboard look. I also added some highlights with the white gel pen.
  • I stamped the sentiment from our new Mistletoe Kisses on the panel with the embossing ink and heat embossed in gold.
  • I cut down the panel down to 4″x5.25″, distressed the edges with the distress tool, and smudged white pastel around the panel. I adhered the black fun foam on the back.
  • On the A2 sized black card base, I adhered a sheet of burlap slightly smaller than the card base. Then I adhered the main panel on top. Both were flushed to the bottom right corner of the card base.
  • On the top of the card, I wrapped the string of gold sequins and tied it with the gold thread.
  • I finished the card by adding some Matte Gold and Glass Slippers sequins.

fday3_chalk_ce1

fday3_chalk_ce2

For the second card, I created a bright & cheerful fun holiday shaker card!

I used our new Holiday Cones, both Layered and Outlines, as well as the Scripty Holiday Greetings set which was revealed on day 1! I also used our new Couture Mix for this shaker card!

fday3_grnshaker_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping 3 different pine branch images from our new Outline Holiday Cones stamp set on a smooth white cardstock with our Crystal Garden Collection inks –  Soft Garden, Bright Fern, Deep Emerald Couture Color inks. I filled in the brown part of some of the pine branches by stamping one of the layer from our new Layered Holiday Cones stamp set with Aspen Cocoa ink. The beauty of these two sets is that they can be used together, as the sizes of the images coordinates perfectly to each other! So you could mix-and-match the images from both Outlines and Layered set! After stamping all the branches, I filled in the gaps with the solid berry image with our Valentine Red dye ink.
  • I also layer stamped cones and pine branch images on a smooth white cardstock and fussy cut. I used Found Toapz, Aspen Cocoa, and Dark Roast ink for the acorns and Soft Garden,Bright Fern, Deep Emerald, and Aspen Cocoa ink for the pine branches.
  • I die cut the panel with the biggest die from our Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, then the third biggest die from the same set in the center. I adhered acetate and double layered foam tape behind the outer piece to create the shaker frame. I stamped the sentiment from our new Scripty Holiday Greetings stamp set on the inner piece with our crisp black Noir dye ink.
  • On a A2 size white card base, I adhered burlap panel and the sentiment panel in the middle. I placed plenty of our new Couture Mix in the middle and sealed the card with the shaker frame.
  • I wrapped some Christmas color twine and silver thread on the top of the card and adhered the layered images behind the bow.

Hazelnut Kisses Couture Mix – Free with $75 purchase

Here comes my first 2 projects! I used our new Thankful Cornucopia and Scripty Holiday Greetings stamp set for the first card, and Fresh Cut Garden Roses Outlines stamp set for the second card.

For my first card, I achieved no-line coloring look for this beautiful image, and I’m quite happy how it turned out!

fday1_cornu_ce1

  • I started the card by stamping this beautiful cornucopia image from our new Thankful Cornucopia stamp set on a smooth white cardstock with our Warm Hazelnut Couture Color Ink to achieve no-line coloring look.
  • Then I colored the entire image with Prismacolor color pencils. I also brushed on our Peach Blossom Couture Color ink very lightly using Clarity Stencil brush to give the image a subtle peachy background.
  • I die cut a piece of kraft cardstock using the second largest die from our Double Stitched Rectangle dies. I also die cut a hole/window using  thethird largest die from our Double Stitched Circle dies. I die cut a fun foam just the same way but a tiny bit smaller than the kraft panel. I adhered the fun foam and the colored image panel behind the kraft panel.
  • On a top folding 4.5″x5.5″ black cardbase, I adhered strips of our Copper Adhesive Foil paper on 2 vertical sides. I adhered the main panel on top using strong adhesive.
  • I stamped the sentiment from our new Scripty Holiday Greetings on a black cardstock using embossing ink, and heat embossed in white. I cut the sentiment down in a banner shape and adhered it to the card using the foam tape.
  • I finished the card by adding some sequins. I used Matte Gold, Dulce, and Burnt Caramel sequins.

Now moving on to the second card!

For this card, I used our new Fresh Cut Roses Outlines stamp set. I fell in love with the images as soon as I saw them!

fday1_roses_fe1

  • I started the card by stamping some beautiful roses and leaves images from our Fresh Cut Roses Outlines stamp set on a hot pressed Arches watercolor paper with embossing ink. I heat embossed with our famous Rose Gold embossing powder. I did some maskings for the images to create the dimensions.
  • Then I colored the entire image using various of green, pink, and yellow Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I also splattered pink, yellow, and white watercolors on the panel. I let it dry completely, trimmed it down to 4″x5.5″, and rounded all 4 corners.
  • I stamped the sentiment (which I love the font of it, by the way!) on a strip of vellum with embossing ink, and heat embossed with our Rose Gold embossing powder. I also die cut a circle frame using the 3rd & 4th largest dies from our Double Stitched Circle Dies, and heat embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder. I adhered both on the watercolored panel.
  • I adhered our Rose Gold Burnished Foil tape on all 4 sides of an A2 size top folding white card base. I adhered a panel of white fun foam on the back of the watercolored panel and adhered it on the card base.
  • I finished the card by adding some Glass Slippers sequins and Key Lime sequins.
